Melanie Levine
Course Instruction: Exploring Leonardo's Notebooks
Melanie Levine is an art educator and consultant who has been working in the arts
for over 10 years. Since 2003 she has been an independent studies scholar at the
Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles. Her research interests lie in the inter-
relationship of art and science as well as South East Asian art and its influences on
western art. Melanie was educated in studio art and art history at the San Francisco
Art Institute and has a Mathematics degree from the University of Michigan. She
currently runs 808 Fine Art, an art consulting and advisory firm in Los Angeles.
